Giveaway

Ok, I know what you're thinking. A giveaway? But it's not even your tenth post, let alone your one hundredth.

But the thing is, I have really been enjoying being a part of the craft blogging community, and I have received such a warm welcome from everyone. And I just want to say:

to all of you. So I decided to do that with a giveaway. Here's a set of 10 thank you cards:

Hand stamped by me:

Each envelope has a flower detail:

And it's all tied up with a pretty pink ribbon:

To be entered in the giveaway, just leave a comment on this post and let me know something that you've been thankful for since you started blogging.

If you want to, feel free (but not obligated) to mention the giveaway on your blog with a link. Or, if you want to increase your own chances, better not mention it! I will do the drawing one week from today (so Thursday, March 27th) probably around 4 or 5 pm MN time.

Thank you all again so much for visiting my page, welcoming me warmly, and leaving me such sweet comments.  This looks like the beginning of a long and wonderful friendship.  :)

  2. You should start your own! It wasn't long after I discovered crafty blogs that I had to start one of my own. I just couldn't not do it! Let me know if you do start your own; it's so nice to have people visit when you're just getting started. :)

  3. Wow a give away. I started my Blog to try to get my stuff 'out there' and my little(?) tummy goes all wobbly when I look at the map and see just how far 'out there' my lttle bits and bobs have travelled. Feel a teeny bit insecure when I realise just how damn 'nice' the rest of you bloggers seem to be. Come on show your dark side!

  5. Since I've been blogging I have been grateful when people visit and leave a comment. It can be lonely out in the blogosphere when you think you are talking to yourself!

  12. Hi again, they are just lovely cards.. I suppose I'm thankful that people are so friendly and no matter now daft you think a post is you always find someone who will tell you otherwise. Also the help I,ve been given so far when I haven't got a clue what to do or am stuck with something, someone like Driftwood comes along and clears it all up. I'll stop rambling now..:-)

  13. Such pretty cards! I'd love to enter your giveaway if I can. Something I've been thankful for is the people I've met, both online and in person, since I started blogging. I know, it's boring and unoriginal, but there it is!

  14. Hello- I've come a-visiting from the lovely Driftwoods' blog. I am quite envious of your lovely craft afternoons, especially with homemade ice cream- how decadent are you?!
I have met some wonderful people from all over the world through my blog- how else could you do that? Its great to know that there are so many like minded, interesting people out there who are all slightly mad just like me...best of luck with your blog- you'll be addicted before you know it x

  15. Hiya, the biggest thing I have been thankful for since I started blogging is meeting people who just get waht I do. For example, I love quiltings but most of the quilters I meet in the flesh are old ladies. They are lovely people, but it is good to know I am not the only 30 year old out there who likes quilting!

  18. Hi there - Like you, I have only been blogging for a short while, but the one thing I am thankful for is that blogging has restored my faith in human nature - that there are people out there who will take time out of their day to read what I have to say and leave kind comments - that, and all the inspiration out there - since I started blogging my brain is brimming over with ideas of things I want to make and projects I want to start. Love your cards by the way - Natalie x

  19. I am a new blogger too! Yours is coming along nicely. I am still a little nervous about it, it was stewing in my head for a while before I actually started it.
I have a give away on my blog right now too. I have totally enjoyed your blog and bookmarked it too!
