A couple weeks ago I attended a Be Crafty Workshop in Minneapolis. I've been wanting to go to one for awhile now, but this was the first time it worked out with my schedule. It was all just as wonderful as it looks!
I've been trying to be more conscious about making time to create - in all the busy-ness with my jobs and school, that can be the thing that gets pushed to the side. But I'm much happier when I take a little time to make something; it's as essential to being happy and healthy as exercise and good food for me.
This weekend was just what I needed! Gorgeous surroundings, lovely hostesses, delicious treats, and an afternoon to make three pretty projects.
Our hostesses: Maggie Holmes and Amanda Rydell.
Cookies made by The Faux Martha.
Balloons (and more!) from Shop Sweet Lulu.
When we walked in, our name tags were on this table, along with these beautiful flowers from The Felt Flower Shop.
There were also supplies sitting out for our various projects.
We made planners/journals out of vintage books:
(Spray painting the books in the hall).
We sewed key fobs out of the cutest fabrics:
And we made magnets out of tile:
Thank you to Amanda and Maggie for a wonderful afternoon, and also to everyone who contributed to these fabulous swag bags:
Pretty Girl Designs, Katy Girl Designs, Holster Brands, Dunne with Style, Studio Calico, The White House Girls, Amanda Rydell, and Maggie Holmes.

Thanks for reading!
